The Wild Swans - The Coldest Winter for a Hundred Years - 2011

Had I known when I first heard this album that it would be their last, I probably would have listened to it differently.  Instead, I absorbed it thinking it was to be the first of a new era of greatness.  Regardless, I now listen to it with a sense of loss and the closing of a door.  Insert a crying emoji here.

  1. Thanks for the post, I didn't realise that they had released anything as late as 2011. Revolutionary Spirit from the '80's has always been one of my all time favourite songs so it's interesting to hear this

  2. I'd never heard this band before, but had always heard a lot about them, so I downloaded this to check it out. WOW! I think I'm in love with their music. I know that I'm late to the party, but now I want to get ALL of their albums! Hey, better late than never, right?
