Peter Gabriel - Peter Gabriel 4 (Security) - 1982

Sorry for the delay last night.  It's been a busy week since last we spoke, and I actually didn't have any time until it was too late, and then I was too tired.  Hopefully the fact that it's a PG album will help you to forgive me.

Best mix on the album - the Simian Surprise mix of Shock the Monkey.  Turn that one WAY WAY UP.

    1. It's okay randy, I have it. For one reason or another, I just didn't feel like including it with this. Thanks for offering, though.

    2. That's cool. Just wanted to add I like the back cover you cam up with... I've always thought PG comes up with some really interesting photography on his albums & singles.

    3. Yeah, I do like this cover a lot. Almost as much as PGII.

  2. Oh man, it seems like every time I think I've got every PG B-side or demo or unreleased track or remix... something like THIS comes along. Awesome! Thanks for all your hard work. For whatever it's worth... you're making people out in the Interwebs very happy on a weekly basis.

    1. What was the mystery track that I uncovered for you?

  3. This is a great, great album. I snapped it up when it came out -- it was pretty much required listening for me during my first months of college. Still love it just as much these days as I did back then.

Incidentally, Heather Nova did an AMAZING version of "I Have the Touch" on the soundtrack for "The Craft." As a lifelong practitioner of Wicca myself (third generation Wiccan), that aspect of the film made me roll my eyes because they made it seem so airy-fairy and almost ridiculous. But the music was fantastic!
